BackerKit Closing This Week, End of Campaign Winners, and Trash Fest

Hello friends! 

BackerKit Closing Friday 

A quick update to say we will be closing the BackerKit Pledge Manager this Friday August 16th and charging cards and locking orders on Sunday August 18th. You will get an email notifying you that you will have 48 hours to make any adjustments to your pledge.

Addresses will not be locked until closer to delivery. We will send out an update later on about this.

Games
Mystic Punks - This dark world needs saving from malevolent supernatural threats, and well, sometimes it comes down to a majick gas station attendant, the mall goth with demon bone daggers, and an adorable Pomeranian wizard! Punks (maybe) save the world from utter annihilation from unholy eldritch gods, possessed high school lunch ladies, and gooey otherworldly bandits with a proclivity for prodding! 
 
Neon Lords Of The Toxic Wasteland - Neon Lords of the Toxic Wasteland is an ultra-violent, style-focused, no-holds-barred, to-the-max game that is half medieval fantasy and half sci-fi. The game oozes 80s and 90s nostalgia, featuring items like ninja stars and fanny packs, as well as many references to the era.
 

The game is built on top of the “BX” rules, and the core rules use an ability class points system and fortune points, which give players some flexibility in dice rolls. The setting is post-apocalyptic Earth, where magic mixed with technology from the 1980s and early 1990s created the cassette futurism seen in the Neo-Terraxx tech and some of the Xeno tech.

Weird Heroes of Public Access - Weird Heroes, Start Here! Something is amiss in Fairhaven. The mysterious station manager of WHPA-TV13, Fairhaven’s public access television station, has curated a cast of show hosts who will use their niche powers to save the day! Rules-light, d6 pool-based resolution system/homage to the personalities of 80s and 90s public access programming!
 
Hot Jungle RPG - Yer a P.O.W. hostage behind enemy lines of the vicious terrorist group Kobra Fang! Can you bust out and stop Kobra Fang's insidious plans?! For lovers of Metal Gear, G.I. Joe, and Deadly Prey!

Hey Punks!

We hope the summer is treating everyone well! 

We want to share some sick spreads that Dark Guide Jay Domingo is cooking for the Core Rulebook!

Surveys going out to backers this week!

Hello everyone!

A quick update to say that the Smoke Test to 5% of backers will start to go out today with all remaining surveys sent to backers by the end of this week!

Surveys? BackerKit? Smoke Test?

For anyone who's not previously used BackerKit: it's the pledge manager we're using to send out your reward survey link (by email*). Once you get the survey link you'll be able to:

  • Enter your shipping address, so we know where to send your rewards. (You'll be able to edit this later on, in case you're moving between now and when fulfilment happens next year.)
  • Optionally switch pledge tier. A note for early bird backers: you can switch pledge tier without losing your early bird trading cards, as long as you remain on a physical tier.
  • Select and pay for extra add-ons. Backers that selected add-ons on Kickstarter will see their add-ons populated in their cart. 
  • Pay the associated shipping costs for your rewards and any add-ons selected.

We will be sending out a first wave of surveys (known as a "smoke test") to a test group of backers tomorrow. The purpose of the smoke test is to check that everything in the pledge manager is working as intended before we send out the remaining surveys.  Once the smoke test is complete, we'll send out surveys to all remaining backers. All backers will have received their surveys by the end of this week. Please reach out to us at [email protected] if you have not received your survey by then. 

*Note, if you used Apple Pay to pay for your pledge on Kickstarter and your settings are set to generate a secure unique email,  you will need to update your email address in order to receive the BackerKit survey email. Please reach out to us at [email protected] if you need any assistance.
